At Denali Specialty Clinic, we believe true healing starts by looking deeper. Founded by Dr. Brett J Earl, Denali was created out of a passion for finding real answers when traditional medicine alone wasn’t enough. Instead of simply treating symptoms, we take the time to uncover the root causes of your health concerns and create personalized solutions that help your body heal naturally.
Our team is committed to helping patients feel their best through innovative therapies and comprehensive wellness programs designed to restore balance and optimize health. From RenuO2 injections and IV drip therapy to advanced specialty care, our treatments are designed to support lasting results and whole-body wellness.
We proudly offer specialized programs including (but not limited to) our Gut Reset Program, focused on improving digestion, reducing inflammation, and restoring gut health, as well as our Breast Health Program, which provides proactive, personalized support for women’s wellness and breast health concerns.
At Denali Specialty Clinic, we don’t stop at surface-level answers — we dig deeper to help you uncover the “why” behind your symptoms so you can truly heal from the inside out.

Dr. Brett J. Earl is the Founder and Medical Director of Denali Specialty Clinic and the creator of Foundational Medicine — a framework built on a simple but powerful shift in how we think about chronic illness. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is a Board Certified Emergency Physician with over 17 years of experience in emergency medicine, including roles as a Life Flight Helicopter Physician and Tactical Physician for the Toledo, Ohio SWAT team. He serves as lead scientific and research consultant for multiple companies, continuously researching innovative care methods and training other providers in Foundational Medicine principles.
Christy Messerich has been a valued part of Denali Specialty Clinic for over ten years, where she leads the clinic’s IV Department as IV Nurse Manager. Known for her warmth, dependability, and genuine love for people, Christy has become an integral part of both the patient experience and the culture of the clinic itself. Patients and staff are naturally drawn to her welcoming personality, sense of humor, and rare ability to make people feel comfortable, cared for, and truly understood from the moment they meet her.
Melanie Muma is a highly accomplished Nurse Practitioner and military veteran with over two decades of dedicated service in both healthcare and country. With a career rooted in emergency medicine, she spent 20 years as an ER nurse mastering crisis management and acute intervention before transitioning into advanced practice as a Nurse Practitioner a decade ago.
Cindy Meldrum has been a valued part of Denali Specialty Clinic for over nine years, serving as both Patient Care Coordinator and Office Manager. Often described as the heart of the clinic, she brings a calm, steady presence and a genuine gift for keeping both people and processes moving forward. Whether she’s helping a patient feel truly cared for or holding the behind-the-scenes structure together, Cindy shows up with warmth, dedication, and kindness in every interaction.
Outside the clinic, she’s the proud mom of six and grandmother to one very loved little one. She enjoys running, hiking, traveling, Disney trips, musicals, and getting lost in a good book — but her greatest joy is making memories with her family.
Jacquee Stephens is the Director of Operations at Denali Specialty Clinic, where she bridges operational precision, creative strategy, and human development into one cohesive role. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, she has spent much of her life asking questions, challenging assumptions, and digging into the why behind how people, systems, and the human body work. Her unofficial superpower is asking the right questions and making sense of beautiful chaos — a talent for cutting through complexity and building solutions that help both people and organizations move forward. A graduate of Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Jacquee has always believed life is too interesting to stay in one lane.
Outside the clinic, she shares her world with her husband, their giant fluffy Goldendoodle Howard, and a tiny Scottish Fold Munchkin cat named Munchie. You’ll usually find her outside — bare feet in the grass, hands in the dirt, soaking up sunshine, and almost certainly overthinking something completely unnecessary. Just for fun.
Janel Simpson is the welcoming face that greets patients at Denali Specialty Clinic, bringing warmth, energy, and enthusiasm into every interaction. With a background in healthcare and an Associate’s Degree in Health Science from High Tech Institute, she has a natural gift for making people feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in. Her unofficial superpower is “turning frowns upside-down” — and anyone who has met her would agree she does exactly that.
Raised in Las Vegas as the youngest of five sisters — “they saved the best for last,” she’ll tell you — Janel is also the proud mom of two teenagers. Outside the clinic, she is happiest with her toes in the ocean, surrounded by nature, animals, books, music, and good company. Known around the clinic as the “walking musical,” she loves to sing, dance, and act, sometimes all at once, and approaches life with the unshakeable belief that anything is possible.
Ronny Wright is part of the creative team at Denali Specialty Clinic, where he focuses on content creation and social media marketing. A proud alum of Utah Valley University, the University of Utah, and Salt Lake Community College, he brings curiosity, creativity, and thoughtful storytelling to everything he does.
His unofficial superpower is a naturally Socratic mindset — he loves asking good questions, challenging assumptions, and staying open to new perspectives. Something people are often surprised to learn: Ronny served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find him cooking ambitious meals, camping, traveling, and spending time with his partner of 12 years and their two cats.
Victoria Perez serves as both Medical Assistant and Personal Assistant to Dr. Earl at Denali Specialty Clinic. Known for her perseverance, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in wherever needed, she brings genuine care and attention to everyone she works with — patients and team alike.
Currently working toward her RN at Salt Lake Community College with plans to eventually become a Nurse Practitioner, Victoria is always learning and looking for ways to do more.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys cooking, singing, painting, and spending time with family and close friends, especially her sister and best friend. At the heart of everything she does is a deep love of being of service — to her patients, her people, and anyone who could use a smile.
